YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Supporting the coordination of efforts of Developers and Team Leads
  • Supporting the communication between development teams and Business/Product Owners
  • Securing alignment between business and development
  • Acting as sparring partner for Team Leads and Chief Architect on technology choices
  • Driving process improvement within the teams
  • Ensuring proper resource allocation
  • Removing impediments to successful software delivery
  • Salary process with team members, discussing and planning career goals with team members, goals accommodation
  • Performance Management and driving communities

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on software development experience on .NET platform
  • Previous experience managing others, i.e. as a Team Lead, Project Manager or Development Manager
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and Scrum/Kanban in particular
  • Experience with technology and process transformation, i.e. introduction of new technologies to teams or Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Experience with distributed teams (nearshore Poland)
  • Ability to bring a team together, drive, motivate and inspire them
  • Thinking holistically and having a crossover business focus
  • Taking on responsibility, initiative and making decisions
  • Higher education in computer science or related field
  • Strong English both in speaking and writing
  • Experience in recruiting IT Specialists
  • Strong leadership and people skills focused on:
    • assessment and development
    • training and career planning
    • satisfaction and engagement
  • Ability to build relationships, both locally and remotely
  • Team Player attitude with focus on common goals and shared vision
  • Proactive and lead-by-example approach
